Central Christian College of Kansas (CCCK) was recently included in a list of the top-20 best Associates Degrees in Healthcare Administration by Best Value Schools.

"The degree of Healthcare Administration is an obvious degree for a school whose mission is to provide a ‘Christ-Centered Education for Character,’'" said Dr. Jacob Kaufman, CCCK’s Chief Academic Officer  "Not only that, in light of COVID-19, what a timely degree.  For example, courses such as Patient Communication and Service Excellence and Leadership and Ethical Issues in Healthcare equip our students for service and mindful leadership."

The healthcare administration program is taught online and includes online tutors, instructional videos, group discussions, and digital guides.

The goals of the program include: developing knowledge of healthcare systems in the United States in order to lead effectively; enhancing leadership competencies and technical proficiency in finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, strategic planning, and ethics in healthcare settings; developing effective communication competencies in business and healthcare settings as well as learning the dynamics of working in groups and teams; developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to tackle current issues in healthcare as well as applying concepts and theories to practice; and developing information literacy in healthcare disciplines.
