County reports seven new COVID cases

The McPherson County Health Department reported Monday morning seven new cases of COVID-19.
Monday’s announcement increases the county’s count to 49 cases.
Five of the new cases have exposure at a long-term care facility. These cases are all asymptomatic with a male in his 60s, a female in her teens, two females in their 90s, and a male in his 50s.
Two more cases are asymptomatic females in their 20s with known exposure to other positive cases in their respective households.
Thirty-nine of the county’s confirmed cases have met the recovery guidelines set by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, including one probable case that was previously reported.
